Any tips for getting from CDG airport to CDG TGV station?

I'll be arriving at CDG Terminal 1, and going onward by TGV from the Airport TGV station to Lyon. Any tips on getting from one to the other (I'm planning to have hand luggage only). Where would be the best place to pick up a snack? - at least one cheaper than the offerings on the TGV which I understand are expensive.

This map should help. Take the free CDGVAL shuttle from Terminal 1 (where it begins) to Terminal 2 (where it ends), and the TGV station is right there. You should be able to get something to eat in either terminal.

Pick up a snack at Paul's near the Sheraton. Believe me, I've looked around Terminal 2 and that is my best suggestion.

Cgichard,

The railway station is underneath Terminal 2.
Upon landing (on Terminal 1), you'll need to take the elevator down to, "CDGVAL" level, to take the shuttle train to Terminal 2.
There is a food court on this level too.

Here are some helpful websites with maps & diagrams of airport:

Have a wonderful trip!

Terminal 1 has a bunch of food, fast food, and convenience store outlets grouped in a food court on the lowest level. Otherwise cafe style places are scattered around in T2, including the above-mentioned Paul.

Very many thanks for the very helpful and detailed responses. I shall be far more relaxed about this transfer now, not fretting about it as we approach Paris.
