Hi Folks,
We will be leaving in less than 2 weeks for Aix-en-Provence (1 week) and Villefranche-sur-Mer (1 week). Thought I would check-in and see if anybody has some nice restaurants that you have been to and recommend? We tend to enjoy all types of restaurants, but I always like to start looking at ones that come with recommendations.
In Aix, I plan to call de l'une a l'autre, which is steps from our Air BNB, and was recommended to us.

We particularly enjoyed the Archiveche Brasserie in Aix, just south (I think) of the Cathedral. Oddly enough, I didn't note what we ate, but I did say the lunch was great. And we enjoyed chatting with the server, as well.
We had mixed results at Brasserie L'atelier, 2 Place Jeanne d'Arc. My notes say my duck confit was great, with good fries and salad, but Stan's tuna was overcooked.
Both places had outdoor seating; the service was better at the Archiveche.
