Antigen Testing Logistics - Going to France

Sorry if this question sounds stupid... but logistically, how are we supposed to provide/prove our negative results? We are scheduled for a rapid antigen test from CVS which am told will be texted our results. Since I am traveling with 3 minors, all are setup on my phone and my children don't have an app that I can save their results to. Do I print out the text test results? Does that suffice for the airline to verify? Or are they going to check my phone. Just FYI I am flying Air France/ KLM in 8 days. TIA for your help!

You will get a printed copy of your results. That is what you show to the airline.

Some airlines will let you submit it online prior to your flight. But keep a copy with you for each person if they ask at the airport.

And in the case of the paperwork offered in Paris, it has a QR code that lets you easily upload it to the same app that shows the Pass Sanitaire and also upload it to the airline pre-flight.

I would think you would photo copy it and upload it to the airline in the US the same way even without a QR code. WE uploaded photos of our passports and CDC cards before flying to France in September; you can photograph your test results and upload to the airline site the same way.

When we arrived in France there was a gauntlet immediately on exiting the plane where we had to show our CDC cards; they didn't want to see the Pass Sanitaire at that point. I would think if this occurs on your arrival in France they would want to see everyone's CDC cards AND the paper copy of your test results. I don't know if they do this for every flight or episodically but right now I would assume you will need it at check in in the US and then on arrival in Paris. Immigration does not handle this ; they have a special squad that looks at COVID related paperwork long before you get to immigration.
