Antigen or PCR needed?

Hello all-
I'm finding so much information and lots of it conflicting. I'm connecting in Paris to go to Spain.
Do I I need a PCR test, or is antigen ok?
Also, if a PCR test takes 1-3 days to get results, but I need to get it within 72 hours of arriving, isn't it possible that the result will not be in by the time I arrive?

Thank you for any information!!

Since you posted in France, France only requires an Antigen at this time. I don’t know what you need for Spain. Are you on one through ticket or separate ticketing?

And, yes, getting test results back in a timely manner is an issue. May be easier if you live near an international airport with that service. Here in the boonies that’s a big issue!!

As your Schengen zone entry point is France, you will need to meet the French entry requirement, which is a negative PCR/Antigen test completed within 48 hours of your initial embarkation (there is no requirement based upon your arrival time). You will pass through immigration in France, but your luggage will be subject to customs inspection upon arrival in Spain.
