Antibes accommodations

Years ago, we stayed for several days at Mas Djoliba (probably at RS's recommendation). While I don't know that one night would be the best way to enjoy the hotel as it has things like a pool and is short walk to a small beach and to the Antibes downtown & waterfront areas, whereas picking a hotel in town might suit you best.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Villa Port d'Antibes. There's no sea view, but it's conveniently located next to the port and an easy 7 minute walk to both the Mediterranean and the train station. I looked at prices at the end of September, and oh boy, they are quite high - almost three times what I paid in April!

Dawn makes a great suggestion about that above hotel. We spent this past winter snowbirding in the condo that looks directly down onto it. The hotel has a uniquely-shaped pool plus a spa offering massage. The port-facing rooms absolutely look across the sea--cue sleepy disheveled guests out on their balconies for sunrise, coffee in hand and surprised to see that crazy Canuck photographer above them positioning their monopod for yet-another photo.
The view is spectacular, with Fort Carre, the mountains, the array of boats, the ferris wheel. One also sees Villefranche off in the distance beside Nice. *see our TR here titled 'Dream Winter' for that actual view shown several times. Fair warning: our quirky TR is hella-looooong.
