We are finishing our 14 day Rick Steves eastern France tour on 6/29/24. Want a 4 nt beach vacation in Antibes before ending our vacation. I’d love to be on the beach but still walking distance to old Antibes. Willing to spend more than normal. Up to 400/nt Any advice?

Your choices are actually pretty minimal -- The Royal Antibes is one. Things are actually pretty spaced out in Antibes, with the better beaches further away from the Old Town (and the train station), to the point that buses come into play. You might try a rental apartment as well.

We booked this apartment for 5 nights in 2021. It was right in the old town and looked right out over the water. The location was fabulous.
The deck looking over the water was wonderful and we used it all the time.
The unit is large and comfortable but is quirky...small bathroom, some funky decor. The pictures give a good sense of what you're getting.
We paid about $210 a night.
