Another train question to Strasbourg Ouigo

I am ready to book my December tickets from Paris to Strasbourg for 2 for mChristmas market.. Ouigo is popping up somewhat cheaper. I have read mixed reviews on this train. It is under 2 hrs so don't need drinks and food etc, small bags for market purchases. However I don't want problems. Thoughts
Thank you

Not on that route, but I have traveled on Ouigo. Paid a bit extra to assure my suitcase was acceptable and made sure I was there at the required early time. Otherwise it was just fine.

How much cheaper? I remember 39€ for the TGV Inouï tickets you found, so it cannot be much less for Ouigo. Ouigo has a 30-minute check-in requirement which is very annoying, and the seating is significantly less comfy than a second-class TGV Inoui.

Balso nails it. Ouigo trains are apparently designed to be uncomfortable. The seats undoubtedly are molded to someone's comfort but not mine -- VERY uncomfortable molded plastic with no adjustment possible at all so the miserable position is the one you have to live with. TGV is worth the extra money if they are available on your route.
