Bonjour! We will be driving from Annency to Marseille airport in mid-September (flight home) and are looking for things to do on this last day. We will have already been in Avignon, but are looking for some more stops on our return to Marseille, and are willing to drive local roads ( and not necessarily drive on the main expressways like A7). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Some lesser-known communes, monasteries, etc. would be a wonderful way to end our trip in southern France. Thanks!

Assume you're staying the last night at Marseille Airport and your only constraint is
to get there in time for dinner, or something like that?
Maybe stop off and see the Pont du Gard aqueduct? Visit Les Baux-de-Provence?
Browse the market in St Remy?
You have maybe a half-day of non-driving time, so stopping in Lyon, Chamonix, or
something like that doesn't really make sense.
