Annecy hotels

Hi there,

We will be in Annecy in mid July for 2 nights. Any hotel recommendations? Any recommended hotels with breakfast included?

Thank you.

I have no specific recommendations and I know that's what you're looking for so hopefully those with first hand experience of hotels in Annecy will make some suggestions. What I'll say is that you can check the Annecy tourist office website for hotel info and all other info a tourist would need to plan their visit to Annecy and environs: https://en.lac-annecy.com/

I don’t remember where we stayed but there was no AC and it was miserable at night in June. Make sure you find a hotel with AC.

For a splurge, I'd recommend the imperial hotel.... we stayed at the hotel splendid, it was perfect for us... excellent location, good breakfast and I was careful to choose a room overlooking the lake.
I always use booking.com because their customer service is the best and you will never pay money for a rental that doesn't exist (also they only let verified customers review lodgings, so there are no fake ratings!)
I agree in the summer, AC is necessary for most. Annecy is incredible and one of the best places we've been: good choice, have fun and bon voyage!

I highly recommend the Imperial where we stayed in September, 2018. We had booked a room on the side overlooking the gardens, since the lake-facing rooms were very expensive. Left our bags with reception, since it was only noon. Did not request an upgrade. When we returned, discovered we had instead been given a lovely small suite overlooking the lake.
