We are traveling the Loire valley in late November. Considering a day trip to Anger....while technically not a Loire city it is in the area. Any recommendations?

The chateau contains the spectacular Tapestry of the Apocalypse. Also at Angers is the Cointreau Museum, which I haven't visited but might be of interest if you like the liqueur.

While in the Loire region several years ago, I went out of my way to drive to Angers to see the Apocalypse Tapestry. Its colors are stunning. I rate it higher than the Bayeaux Tapestry (although not an exact apples to apples comparison, as it is from a later century).
