Anyone know when the Amis du Lourve annual pass becomes valid? When I buy it or when I first use it? Can't seem to find any info on validation.

The day you buy it. I got mine last September and the countdown clock started ticking on the year validity.
BTW, this was an excellent purchase for myself. I went 3 times last September/Oct over 3 weeks and have 3 more visits pencilled in for my trip this spring!

Correct. It’s date of purchase. They’ve gone to virtual cards which is fine for entering at the Richelieu entrance . But, if you want a real card, the office will give it to you immediately. Many people can’t get their virtual cards to work to enter the wings, so the office is churning out cards all day long.
