Our itinerary is Paris (5 nights) - Saint Malo (1 night) - Mont St. Michel (1 night) - Amboise area (3 nights) - Ménerbes (4 nights) - Geneva area (4 nights). We're planning on renting a car in Saint Malo. Would you:
Return the rental in Amboise (or Tours), take the train to Avignon and rent another car for the remainder of the trip? OR
Keep the rental for the full trip and return to the Geneva airport (French side)?
Keeping the rental for the full time is a lot cheaper than two separate rentals, BUT it means a lot more driving! Our 10-year-old is pretty good in the car, but that stretch from Amboise to Avignon is long.
I'd appreciate any and all input!
