Hello. I read that parking is terrible in Amboise during tourist season. But I also saw one traveller in off-peak state that parking was not a problem. Does anyone know how difficult parking will be near Le Huis Clos, during October? This bed and breakfast indicates that there is parking in front of it as well as parking by the Loire just 2 minutes away. This bed and breakfast is not in the middle of town, but near the Loire itself. Thank you.

Have you looked on Google maps satellite view and street view? Looks like the closest public parking lot is a 3 minute walk. There seem to be a few private parking areas nearby. Perhaps the B&B uses one of them.

Thank you for the suggestion. On Google maps, I found some parking lots, then I found a webpage for the city of Amboise with a page all about parking. (I could not see any street view. ) It has a map showing free parking, paid parking, parking lots, etc. The place I am staying has such high reviews that I feel it would be worth having to search for parking.
