Alsace Christmas market ideas?

Will be in Strasbourg Nov 25-30th - coming in from Koln. What other towns are worth visiting for their Christmas Markets while we are there? We will have our 6 year old and my 76 year old mother - so prefer a place easily accessible from the train (or bus?) station - that doesn't require an excessive amount of walking once we get to town to get to the markets- but also has enough stuff to make it worth the trip (and not a long trip from Strasbourg (less than 1 hour preferable)

thanks!

Strasbourg has numerous markets. You can't see them all in one day (at least I couldn't.) They don't start until later in the afternoon, and run until about 10pm. Colmar, Freiberg, and Mulhouse have good markets. So does Basel, and Hagenau. Take the train up to Wissembourg for one US tourists rarely see.

@KGC- thanks- we do have four full days (plus the evening we get into town) in Strasubourg- figured we would do a day in Colmar, then either 3 days in Strasbourg, or 2 days + a day in another surrounding town.

There are navettes that run in a circular route to three of the wine villages from Colmar on weekends They all have their own markets as well and are worth exploring. They're Eguisheim, Kayserberg and Riquwihr.
