during my trip in sept, I plan to spend 2 nts in eguisheim (hotel Nancy). suggestions for getting to colmar/parking ? Picking up rental car in Freiburg, then onto alsace. Other suggests for this excursion. Will then drive to black forest with stops in Gutach, triberg, alpirsbach, tubingen ...ending in Ulm. Experiences??? Suggestions?? What should I know about Konus Card??

A KONUS card won't do you much good if you are driving through the Black Forest. If you stay over night in a smaller town (specifically NOT Freiburg im Breisgau or Baden Baden) in the area covered by the KONUS in Baden-Württemberg you can have free unlimited use of second class on buses and regional trains. Anything above RE is not included.
It is an exceptionally good deal if you park the car and base yourself in a convenient place.

we plan one nt each in alpirsbach and lichtenstein while in the black forest. thanks
