I stayed at Hotel des Augustins for two nights after the (wonderful) eastern France tour. Recommend the hotel HIGHLY. Genuinely historic, relatively moderately priced, well equipped, in the heart of down-town activity. Book dinner reservations if you don't want to eat take-out on the curb.
