Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on travel via Train from Aix-En-Provence to Bayeux?
Should I go Aix TVG station via Paris to Bayeux or travel via taxi to Marseille to Paris to Bayeux?
Appreciate any suggestions on the best route.

French trains operate largely on a hub-and-spoke network and Paris is the hub.
So, for example, to get from Aix-en-Provence to Bayeux by train, you probably would be best served to board a TGV at the Aix TGV station to Paris Gare de Lyon. Then, use the Métro, bus, taxi, shoe leather, or whatever to get from Gare de Lyon to Gare Saint-Lazare. Take a TER train (probably badged Nomad) to Caen and then on to Bayeux.
I'm willing to be proven wrong, but I would think going to Marseille's Gare Saint-Charles would only add time and cost to your trip.
And: it's TGV, not TVG. TGV is an abbreviation for train à grande vitesse, or high speed train (French orders its nouns and adjectives differently than English). TER, on the other hand, is an abbreviation for transport express régional.
Thank you so much for the prompt reply and this helpful info.
