AIX en Provence Hotels

We will be in Aix for a wedding. We will stay at the ApartAdagio before the wedding and want a central located hotel with an elevator for 4 nights after the hotel. Does the Hotel Augustins have an elevator? Also thinking of the Roi Rene or the Aquabella. Any thoughts on these hotels?
Would also like to take a group day trip to Montpelier or Cassis. Any thoughts on day trips without a car?

According to the RS Provence guidebook, the three-floor Hotel des Augustins has an "elevator to second floor only." It seems like it might have ground-floor rooms too. Maybe you should ask the hotel.

Thank you for your reply. That is good news they have an elevator to the 2nd floor.
I reached out to the hotel, but no reply yet.
Looks like a great location and lovely rooms. Thanks again!

Have you looked at the this one? https://lesquatredauphins.fr/ I stayed here in October and was very satisfied. It is close to the Cours Mirabeau in a quiet neighborhood. There was no lift, but I am in my late 70s and they helped me by carrying my bag up to the 1st floor (from the ground floor.) I didn't eat their breakfast, but it looked good and the dining room was lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You will love Aix. They have a very good Tourist Info Ctr which was very helpful.

I realized you did after I posted and I apologize, but didn't delete as I figured it never hurts to have options. Have a wonderful trip.

When staying in Aix we went to the TI and signed up for a tour to Cassis and ended up being the only people along with the driver in a van.
He took us up to the top of the cliffs for a beautiful overlook of the town and then down to the waterfront so we could spend the day there. He then picked us up at 6 PM. No car needed.

We have a reservation for the Hotel des Augustins in September. I wrote directly to the hotel and requested a room that was serviced by an elevator.
They replied that it "is possible to stay on a floor with an elevator." That was good enough for me. But if not, we're capable of going up one floor with our bags.
