airporter from CDG

I've only read about Golden Air shuttle but does anyone have any other recommendations? The reviews in this forum are over 8 years old and a few are not so good. We leave on Monday! The service we were hoping to use has not responded and I'm afraid I checked in too late. Any help is much appreciated.

Although I don't have a suggestion if you want to be dropped directly at your hotel, there's also the Roissybus from CDG that drops you at Place de l'Opéra, which runs very frequently & doesnt require advance reservations. You could either take a taxi or Metro from there. Good luck and hope this is helpful.

A taxi is only 50 or 55 from CDG, drops you at your door and is reliable. Unless you are one person traveling I would not bother with a shuttle service -- not at all unusual for them to take forever to arrive, not arrive at all and keep your money or be incredibly slow getting you to the hotel. Paris is not a shuttle culture as is the US; cabs are MUCH more reliable.

Agree taxi is the way to go. Our last shuttle experience was our last shuttle experience. The guy spoke nearly zero English and his French was not much better. He got stuck in traffic and lost finding his way out of it.

Take a taxi as suggested above.

Just got back from the RS Paris tour (awesome) yesterday, we have in the past just taken the train into Paris then road the the metro but this time we took a taxi for 55 euros and it was really quite easy to go from CDG to the Rue Cler area and be deposited at the hotel door.

The days of shuttles for CDG are over. Since you are at least two people ("we"), as others have suggested, take a taxi. There is no sense in paying the money for a shuttle when for barely a bit more, you can have a taxi and 1) not have to worry about missing your shuttle driver depending on when your flight arrives and 2) you don't have to drive all over dropping off a million other people before getting dropped off yourself.

The one thing to be careful about, is as soon as you exit into the open part of the airport (after customs), there will be people milling around, trying to get you to take "TAXI, TAXI" . . .ignore them (it takes a bit of persistence) and follow the Taxi direction signs in the airport to the official taxi rank. Write your hotel address on a piece of paper and 50 euros or 55 euros depending on which side of the river your hotel is on (we will tell you if you tell us the arrondissement of the hotel).

25 euros a person for door to door is a pretty darned good deal after a trans-atlantic flight. And if you're more than two, of course it's even cheaper per person!
