Airfare NYC-Paris end of August/Early September

EDIT: We were able to. book at $560 thank you to everyone for the feedback!
Hi, my husband and I are planning a big trip to Paris at the end of August/early September. We've been tracking airfare and saw a round-trip direct Air France flight for $664 for our dates (August 23rd-September 5th)
This seems like a fair price, so we're wondering if we should buy now even though it's 8 months away, or wait and see if the price goes down more. The price has dropped by almost $100 in the past week.
Disclaimer: our dates are not flexible, and for luggage reasons we don't want to fly a budget airline (French Bee, Norse Atlantic Airways etc)

Thank you!

My philosophy on plane fares is that if you see something at a decent price and your dates aren't flexible, buy it. And then stop looking at prices. At that price, if prices go down it will not be by a lot, but they can stand to go up significantly. So even if you end up paying just a bit more than what ends up to be the lowest price, does it matter?

I would buy now for a nonstop flight. I do not think that prices will go significantly lower and by that I mean more than 10% lower unless there is a major economic meltdown in next few months.

Don’t look at prices again? That one size fits all advice is no longer valid.

Depending on your airline and what kind of ticket you’re buying, you can get credit if the airfare drops. I currently have $300 in credit on Delta Airlines for airfares that dropped after I booked them.
