AirBnB Trocadero

Due to the Rugby Tournament in Paris in October it seems like availability is not as strong. I found my Parents and I a small 1 bedroom. AirBnB with Terrace on the 7th floor with elevator that has views of the Effiel Tower a 8 minute walk to Place de Trocadero and close to the Metro. It's a 11 minute walk to L'Nation Metro.

The apartment is located off and I was wondering if you know of any good Boulangeries, restaurants etc.

This time we're on Rue Geruze. It's by Rue decamps a 22 minute walk to Champs Elysee.

As we are here for 4 nights and we return to Paris often I am not going to run crazy all over the city instead enjoy it like a local. I did get a ticket for the Louvre and maybe the Orsay.

Any tips? Thanks

The place can not be eight minutes' walk from Trocadéro and 11 minutes' walk from "Nation" metro". Those are on completely opposite sides of town.

Could you please look at the name of the metro station again ! "L'Nation" sounds weird anyway.

Rue Greuze is a beautiful street, I used to live nearby. The whole area is quiet and very upscale.
You have some very good food shopping options in rue des Belles Feuilles nearby: bakeries, cheese, grocery store, etc. Good restaurants are a bit thinner on the ground in the immediate area, though. If you don't want anything fancy, Mokus l'Ecureuil has good pizza.
Trocadéro metro is fairly central, you'll be within 30 minutes of most tourist attraction. And bus line 63 will be very helpful for you to get to Orsay and the Latin Quarter.

Trocadero is not central, it is on the western edge of Paris. But with metro you can get anywhere in 30-40 minutes at most.

And Nation is at least an hours walk from there if you step lively. Trocadero itself offers the best view of the Eiffel Tower and the neighborhood is pleasant and upscale

That rue Raffet location is worse. You are adding 10-15 minutes of commute to most places in Paris. The immediate neighborhood, while less pretty, is still quite fancy though, and you'd be next to one of the best butchers in Paris (Desnoyers) if that's your thing.
Are you sure appt. #1 does not have WiFi? It feels strange in 2023.

The first apartment had no WIFI and Actually we are 5 minutes away from the Line 9 Jasmine. We know Paris so this time I want to experience the 16th . I am a pro on the Metro. Adding 10-5 minutes more is not so bad as I want to experience the real 16th away from touristy Trocadero. A 15 minute walk to Bois Boulogne is great!

Mille Fois for your suggestions. The 2nd AirBnb is larger and I love to walk. It's my 6th time in Paris.

We have a dear Friend in Passy and relatives in Paris to get a local experience. My Cousin who exports food took me to my dream place Rungis by Orly. It was a place I've always wanted to go to. I got to see him work

On the return from Morocco my Parents and I are spending 4 nights in Chantilly on Rue Connectable and a night by Roissy.

Jasmin is my métro stop when I stay in Paris. The quartier is smack dab between Auteuil and Passy - two very chic parts of le 16ème.

Well, if you want to explore the 16th and are happy with a quieter, less central area then yes rue Raffet is great!
The streets of Auteuil, immediately to the south, are worth exploring. To the north, the La Muette area is also very nice, with the Marmottan museum and the shops around rue de Passy - including a good covered market there. You also have a big branch of la Grande Épicerie de Paris for fancy foodstuffs, it is worth a look! I lived close to it during the first COVID lockdown and shopping there to cook very nice meals helped with my sanity.
