AirBand B or Apartment in Aix en Provence

We are traveling to Provence for a week in October, 2024, ending up in Arles mid month. We would love a place in Aix to make our base for the week. Most of our meals will be out. We do not want to rent a car but rather use buses or hire a car guide. Hilly locations are not great. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

I was in Provence for the month of March 2024. In Aix for a week and had a great apt. About 1 1/2 blocks from the start of the Cours, 1 1/2 blocks from the train station and maybe 2 1/2 blocks from the bus station. Fabulous location! Appartement Cosy Aix Centre.
