Air travel between Lyon and Bordeaux

Bonjour,
My husband and I are traveling from Paris (after 5 nights) to Lyon on the high speed train. We then plane to fly from Lyon (after 6 nights) to Bordeaux. Then the high speed train from Bordeaux (after 5 nights) back to Paris. One night in CDG airport then home the next day for a total of 18 days. The high speed train tickets have been purchased. We don't like to rent a car. We can do day trips, etc.

My question is regarding the air flight from Lyon to Bordeaux. It looks like EasyJet would be the way to go. I wondered if any one has experience or recommendations on how to handle this? I can see how to purchase tickets. It looks fairly easy as long as the "rules" are followed.

We stay one night at CDG airport on November 7. Also does any one know why the hotel prices go up significantly when looking at November?

Take it is a short. 1 hour flight. Easy Jet is the best airline for short flights in Europe. Lyon to Bordeaux is not well connected with high speed rail east to west. I once flew from Nice to Bordeaux on Easy Jet because of this reality.

Maybe there is a convention in town that is why you are seeing high hotel prices. It is the season for conventions and conferences and Paris is big host of these. High hotel prices have to due with a lack of space . Even sporting events like soccer tournaments affect hotel prices.

I have taken the Ouigo train (that is the low cost brand owned by SNCF) from Bordeaux directly to CDG and its stops at terminal 2
