We arrive today in Paris and taking the TGV to Aix. Like most here- awaiting our Health Passes, but glad to hear most places accept the CDC cards. Our kids (young adults) are flying Air France from CDG to Marseille this week. Do you know if Air France will allow them to board with only a CDC card and not a Health Pass? Thank you
Hi museumfinder. We had this same question when we flew from France to Venice at the end of July. At that time, we were under the impression that all we needed was our CDC cards, however, I read here on the forum a few days before our flight that someone had been asked for a Passe Sanitaire by the Air France agent at CDG (and their CDC cards were not acceptable). That made me nervous, so we went and had a Covid test done at a Paris pharmacy so that we could have a Passe Sanitaire in hand (printed by the pharmacy). In the end, we were not asked for anything other than our CDC cards and passports. However, we flew EasyJet out of Orly. So I'm not sure if it was just chance, or whether there were different airline/airport/country policies at play. If you can't get a definitive answer, I would just recommend that the young adults get a rapid test done the day before the flight so that there is nothing to worry about. In the end, the time and money spent getting the test done was the worth the peace of mind - knowing that we would get on that plane!
I hope you all have a wonderful trip!
