Negotiations are still ongoing, and they're still not satisfied, so they've filed the motion.
If they end up getting satisfaction from company leaders, they could rescind their strike plan between now and then.

FWIW strikes in other countries can also louse things up. My nephew and his family are stranded in Nice at the moment trying to fly back home; their flight was cancelled because of some sort of strike in Italy.
