Air France Info Requested

I have only traveled internationally once before and someone else took care of the tickets. I received an email from Air France requesting more personal info. Address, passport info etc. Is this normal?

Just didn't want to answer to a scam of some sort.

Yes. You can also get the Air France app on your phone and enter the info there.

go to the website, check in on your code number for that flight, and then fill out the extensive information they will need including passport number. By going to the site yourself and onto your own booking with the airline you can alleviate any concerns of phishing.

My flight with Air France is in September. How far ahead will they be requesting this information ? Should i just go ahead and get online and complete it now?

Hi Brenda, yes it's probably worth it to just enter it now. One less thing to worry about later. Although then I end up making myself a note to remember that I already did it so I don't put it back on my list of things to still do!!

Hmm, I've been to Carterville :-)

Thanks for the advice. I had wondered when i bought the tickets because a few years ago, i had to put the passport number in at that time. I called and asked and they said they would ask for it later. Now i know what to do.

I agree with janettravels. If you ever have concerns about a request for information, go to the website yourself (not through a link provided in the request itself) and only provide information through that contact.
