We have read about the size limitations of carry-on luggage on Air France web site (55x35x25 cm / 21.6x13.7x9.8 inch).
We have a variety of carry-on luggage from which to choose.
We are flying business class from ATL to Paris on Air France.
If you have flown like this, what size carry-on did you take onboard?
Thanks.
Why don't you believe what they have posted? And if you're on a nonstop which you likely are, just take a small carryon and check your bag. On a simple flight nothing is going to happen. Get an Airtag if you're concerned.
I believe there is no difference in the class of carriage what is allowed carryon size. Whether they llook the ohter way for business class I would not plan that they do.
I have taken AF business class several times, perhaps as many as 8, in the past three years, even during Covid. I have always carried on a US size roll-aboard, even when starting my itinerary in a smaller plane from where I live in France and changing to the large plane at CDG. I have never been questioned or prevented from bringing the 22” suitcase on board.
In business class on Air France, you can carry two pieces of luggage of the dimensions mentioned and a personal item. So maybe have two pieces of carry on luggage that are within the size limits. For example, when I fly Air France and am not checking luggage, I use a hard sided roller suitcase that is almost the same size as the Air France dimensions above except mine is 23.1 cm deep and a tote bag that I place on top, plus my purse. One tote that I use is 36cmX40cmX22cm and the other is 42cmX35cmX18.5cm
Thank you very much for the information and experiences
Flying out of Atlanta you’re actually dealing with Delta people at most of your check points because they just share staff. And Delta would let you carry on a steamer trunk so you should be fine.
I have flown Air France business class a couple of times, and to be honest they are not incredibly picky on their business class. They might get picky in coach, but they tend to be fairly generous with business class.
