Hi, I read during peak season, they limit the time you can spend at Aiguille du Midi, like 2.5 hrs and you have to take cable car back down to Chamonix at a certain time. What if I want to take the Mont Blanc Panorama? will they adjust the return time?

I haven't been since Covid. I didn't run into any restrictive time limits when I went. I'm not sure if there were limits but the time allowed was plenty, or if time limits are a new thing? There was an "end of day" time, but I started early and don't remember being in any rush.

I don't see how they can limit your time - all they know is the reservation time
you make to go up the AdM.
You cannot make reservations for the Panoramique ahead of time, so what
you do want to do is get a ticket up top long before you want to go across.
We did not need a ticket to come back (we did that vs taking the Monte Bianco
down into Italy).
Also, if you come back down the AdM at the end of the day, be prepared for a
line at both stages.

Thank you both for your replies. I actually emailed them, they said there's a time restriction during peak season but if I take the panoramic gondola, then there's no more time restriction. I plan to take the panoramic gondola as soon as i get up there and then only visit the Aiguille du Midi on the way back, i hope this works out.
