Advance tickets for Monet's Garden at Giverny

Do we need to buy tickets for Monet's Garden at Giverny in advance? Or should we just wait and buy them there. We will be picking up a rental car at CDG, and plan to stop at Giverny on our way to Honfleur. Any suggestions for where to get lunch between CDG and Giverny?

since travel plans change unexpectedly buy it a couple days in advance so you do not have to buy it when you get there.

I went without tickets a few years ago and waited an hour in line; I would definitely get tickets ahead.

Are you flying in from the U.S. that day? I hope you don't mind my mentioning this, but it's not generally recommended to try and drive if you are jet-lagged.

The tickets to Monet's Garden aren't timed, so you can buy them the night before when you know your plans and what the weather will be like. You can choose to have them on your phone or ask your hotel to print them out.

Sorry I can't help you with the lunch question. We ate at the first place we saw walking from the car park in Giverny.
