We are headed to Nancy and Colmar and their surrounding areas this coming September with another couple. We are in our 60s and still active. I have found so much good advice for our other trips in these Forums. The travelers who comment offer so many helpful, interesting and useful things. This will be our first trip to this region and we are starting to move from the "broad brush" stage to more detailed planning. I would welcome any suggestions you might have for accommodations in both Nancy and Colmar. We tend to like B&Bs, smaller hotels, and have had good experiences with AirBnBs, too. Many of the wonderful places we have stayed in during trips to other countries were found by reading these Forums! Thank you in advance!

We really enjoyed our stay in Colmar at Reflets Sur la Lauch, right on the canal in Petite Venise. We had the one-bedroom Terrace Apartment, but they also have a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment. The decor is very modern and stylish, and the bedding very comfortable. We thought the location and views were perfect.
They do not have a website but you can book their apartments on booking.com. It may also be on Air BnB but I did not check.
