Looking for a nice place with French charm to stay somewhere near Uzes or Isle-our-la-Sorgue. We will have 3 nights there the end of May. Can be a B and B, hotel or apt. Thinking it might be smart to have A/C? Any suggestions from those of you that have traveled here?

Heads up. Uzès isn’t in the Luberon. It’s forty-five minutes west of Avignon in the Languedoc, quite a schlep from the Luberon. We’ve stayed here in Uzès. It was well equipped and lovely and lively. http://uzesvacationrentals.com/rental/la-belle-vie-4-people/

A/C at the end of May does not feel necessary in the Lubéron or in Uzès.
In Lubéron, a tried-and-tested recommendation of mine would be La Maison des Ocres, in Roussillon. But there are many good hotels and B&B's in the area, so it is not an "absolute" recommendation.
Also, beware: May 26-29 is a MAJOR holiday weekend in France so you should book asap if your travel straddles those dates. And expect terrible traffic if you need to head back towards major cities on May 29th.

Okay, guess I have my regions mixed up. So, looking for accommodations near or in Uzes. And thanks for the heads up on the Holidays!
