Our family of 6 is spending June 13-19 in France. We are coming from London on the Eurostar. I'm looking for lodging recommendations in Paris. Our children are 5, 9, 13, and 16, and we would like to be able to walk most places while we are in Paris. Any reputable apartment rental agencies you can share?

It depends on how many nights you will be in Paris. If only a couple nights, you might search for a Family Room, basically a large room with multiple beds or a "suite" with a bed in one room and a couple beds in an adjoining room. Some apartments may be reluctant to rent for less than a week. I don't really have any specific recommendations, just to widen your search.

You need at minimum a two bedroom apartment and I would think at minimum two bathrooms. There is no place where you can easily walk most places as the major sights are spread out, but if you are central you an do it for many. Vacation in Paris rents by the day and might have something; they have a good reputation.

A good apartment for you is available through booking at TripAdvisor in order to get their vacation protection plan free. It is the Proche Tour Eiffel Parc Des Expos Paris apartment and has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, on the first floor of a building with an elevator down the street from the Eiffel Tower in an area full of attractions, cafes, cheese shops, bakeries, restaurants, parks, movie theaters, and good Paris transportation-the metro is a 2 minute walk away- to anywhere in the city. A grocery store is located right next door. The apartment sleeps 6 and welcomes children. There is a large flat screen tv, 300 channels, wifi, and a Dvd player. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine. If you book on Trip Advisor, it comes with their vacation protection plan so your money is safe. Nathanael is the owner and is very nice and quick to help. It is very affordable- only around $132 a day for all 6 of you!
