accessible lodging in Aix-en-Provence

I am planning a 4-7 day visit to Aix-en-Provence with my two grown daughters and granddaughter. I am 85 and often use a walker or cane. I want to stay in a hotel or VRBO that does not have any steep winding stairs, a loft or basement room. I do not need a wheelchair accessible room. I can do one flight of stairs with a good railing.
I went to school in Aix 50 years ago and want to stay near the old city center where I can leisurely soak up the sights, sounds, and aromas while my daughters put more energy into sightseeing perhaps to surrounding villages.
A rental with a kitchen would be nice. We are not bringing a dog and do not need air conditioning.

People rave about Aquabella. I haven't stayed there.
We did stay at Hotel Rotonde a few months ago. It was perfectly fine. Close to the Cours Mirabeau and the large Rotonde fountain. No winding stairs, does have an elevator. No big steps. Modern building. Friendly staff.

Hotel Cezanne has an elevator, just a step or 2 to get in the front door
Easy flat walk to center
