A long shot- Paris cafe

A friend of ours was mentioning that years ago she was in Paris with her family and she visited a cafe "Angelinas" where she had the best hot chocolate in her life. I know it is a very long shot, but does this rig a bell with anyone? My family will be in Paris in June and if Angelinas still exists, we would love to go there and get some memento for her.

TIA

Angelina's is famous for its hot chocolate, which was like no other I've tasted. The main location is on Rue de Rivoli near the Louvre, but it looks like there are others now.

Not such a long shot, really?

OH MY GOODNESS! The Mont Blanc pastry is THE BEST.....we had a nice sit-down breakfast there a few years ago........the Angelina's Right across form Tuileries Garden on Rue Rivoli.....my husband is a hot chocolate aficionado but felt like theirs was a little thick......though something you must try while there. The Mont Blanc is so unique.....I have tried to copy it here at home in the states and we just do not have access to what we need to make them.......so eat up!

The most famous café in Paris... : )
They’re opening one in NYC soon.

Jane, i agree with your husband. I don’t like their hot chocolate.

Susan, beat me to it. I don't know where you live, but if NYC is nearby you could go to Angelina's without going to Paris. Another place that is famous in Paris is Ladurée. They have delicious pastries and are known for their macarons. There are 2 Ladurée's in NYC and 3 locations in the LA area. My daughter just brought me some macarons from LA and it really makes me miss Paris.
