Hi all,
The past week I’ve been looking for a food tour preferably in the St. Germaine neighborhood (Christmas week). I’m on the wait list with Paris by Mouth, and Secret Food Tours was too much $$$. They do not do afternoon tours in St. Germaine but offered to open one up for me but want to charge ~$200 more than a regular reservation (I’m guessing a private tour…I can’t justify almost $800 for a family of 5). Anyone have any other companies that you could suggest? My husband and I have done Montmartre and Marais, so we are looking for a different location to take our whole family.

This may or may not be a solution, but check with Eating Europe (eatingeurope.com). They have Paris tours, although they also offer private tours - at what price I don’t know, but it might not hurt to ask.
We did a Rome tour with them last week, us two and 7 others on the tour, and it was very worthwhile.

Cyn- Thank you! I read some reviews and it looks like you do! The guide actually worked for Secret Food Tour in the past, and he was absolutely wonderful according to other travelers.
