If you've watched Steve Smith and Rick sail down the Canal du Midi and thought such a cruise was not in your budget, check out the web page for Serenity Barge (serenitybarge.com). We found Serenity Barge recommended on the RS Forum, and it far exceeded our expectations. Five of us (two couples, one single) had great food, wonderful champagne tastings and winery tours. Captain Claire Wood is extraordinary. She sails the Marne and the Marne-side canal now through October. I would give it 10 stars!
