a big shout-out to spending the night in Chartres during the summer

We stayed at Hostellerie St Yves across the street from the cathedral. During the summer months, Chartres has a very enjoyable light show. Staying in Chartres was one of the highlights of our trip-very enjoyable medieval atmosphere and quiet.
