58 Tour Eiffel Lift Ticket Q

I was wondering if anyone has had dinner at 58 Tour Eiffel and can help. I know their website says you check-in before your reservation 30mins prior at the base of the tower to get a lift ticket for the 1st level, but what do you need to do to get up to the second and third levels? I've heard that with dinner the lift tickets to the second and third levels are "complimentary," but couldn't find specifics about this. Where do you get them?

Thanks in advance for any/all advice!

There is nothing on their website that indicates tickets to the third level are complimentary and even their FAQ doesn't mention it. I doubt it very much. I would think you could take the stairs to the second level and buy tickets to the top there or just get back on the elevator for the second level, but I'd suggest emailing the restaurant and asking.

Oh, ok. So it wouldn't cost anything to go to the second level after dinner then? We could just come right out and head for the lift, then make the call whether to buy tickets to go up to the third level once we get up to the second level?

I'm hoping someone who has done it will hop on and clarify. If I were you I would just email the restaurant. I 'have heard' you can get to the second floor from dinner on the first and I know you can buy a ticket to the top on the second floor.

I don't believe you can take the lift up from the first level (58 Tour Eiffel) to the second level. And you definitely have to pay additional for tickets from the second to the top.
We had reservations at 58, arrived early, so we took the lift up to the second level. I took the lift down to 58 to see if the restaurant had opened yet, leaving my wife and grand daughters on the second level. To my dismay, I found that I could not take the lift back up to the second level, but could get there only by walking up the stairs. I remember this distinctly because my fear of heights made the open stairs pretty scary. I would definitely not have taken the stairs if I could have used the lift.
That was 4 years ago, so things could have changed, but that's how it was when we were there. For what it's worth, the stairs aren't all that scary for everybody. You might enjoy the adventure. Lots of people were enjoying them, in both directions, while I was trying not to fall to my death.

Haha, glad you survived Bob!

Just wanted to clarify something by asking you: you said that you don't think you can take a lift from the first to the second level, but you said you did purchase a ride from the first level to the second level. Did you mean you purchased a separate ticket to visit the tower for everyone and rode up from the bottom of the tower up the the second level? Sorry, hope I didn't confuse everyone with that mosh-mosh of words.

Yes, we went directly from the ground to the second level (what would be called the 3rd floor in America). Then I went back down to the first level (second floor in America), but had to take the stairs back up to the second level (3rd floor).
