48 Hour Museum Pass

Curious if anyone has ever pushed the 48 hours on the museum pass, or if I risk my Louver visit in the below example? (In which case, it's not worth it).

Wednesday - First pass usage with 8PM Arch
Thursday All Day
Friday All Day with 6pm entrance into Louver (planning to stay to close)

It’s based on when your enter so you should be fine with the Louvre entry at 6 PM

I agree that you’ll be ok. Several years ago, I entered a first museum at noon with my pass then went in to my last at 10 AM before my hour limit ran out at 11:59.

Do be aware that some Louvre galleries are closed on the evening opening schedule. Also, depending on when you visit it may be hot in there. I don’t tolerate heat well and even by early afternoon on a warm day it’s too much for me. YMMV!!

Thanks all. We do have the entrance to the Louvre booked at 6pm Friday and based on the comments, will plan to visit the arch on Wed at 8ish. Will report back if any issues are encountered.

The Louvre is tricky. Some galleries are closed in the evening, but most important, the pass will be scanned at the entrance to a wing -- so it isn't enough to be 'in the museum' whatever that means before the pass expires -- there are 3 entries allowed, one for each wing and if you are past the expiration even though you made it through security and are in the pyramid, then you won't be able to enter. So plan your route and be sure you enter the last wing on your list before your pass expires.

Great point about the different wings, I had not considered that and will play it on the safe side. Thanks!
