We'll be spending about a week in Toulouse and have about 3 days to visit other places in the area prior to that week.
Have visited Carcassonne and Narbonne recently so thinking of maybe heading SW, like visiting Lourdes and Pau, but would love other recommendations. Recommendations for things to do in Toulouse also much appreciated!

Thanks @andrew.reis for the great suggestions! That day around Albi sounds perfect and I am looking into your other recommendations.
I should probably explain that Pau is a must for a short stop due to the grand prix street circuit, as my husband is a racing fan.
