Hello,
I have booked hotels in Nice (De la Mer) and Villefranche sur mer (Hotel Darse) for three nights in total in October. Am not a museum /modern art fan. So any suggestions regarding places to visit are welcome. Am leaning towards Monaco day trip one day , Eze le village and La turbie with Cap ferrat on one day and old nice and ambling along the seafront in Nice one day.
Is it achievable?? Any tips regarding public transport are welcome

Easily done by public transport - bus, tram, and train. All cheap, fast, frequent and easy.
La Turbie - the Trophy - isn't quite so easy and not such a big deal.
Why are you moving hotels? The two towns touch and going between the two centres is barely 10 minutes by bus. Why waste all that time changing hotels?
Do you like fish? Visit the world famous Monaco Aquarium. I have spent hours in there.
Pick a good day for the walk around Cap Ferrat. It is super scenic, and the water comes right up to the path in places so in bad weather your feet can get quite wet.
You might like the open market in old Nice. Have a plate of Socca for me.
