First time visit to Paris for 3 days this October. Not looking for a jam packed itinerary. Would like suggestions for daily itinerary on top sights. Will be using public transportation. Staying in Le Marais area. Thank you
If you want to see the itinerary that I will be using, click the link. I am trying to get the most that I can out of a Paris Museum Pass, without making it ridiculously exhausting.
Musee d’Orsay
L’Orangerie
Louvre
Musee Rodin( sculptures are outdoors.)
Seine boat ride
Neighborhood walks: 5th,6th, 7th
Food tour
Eiffel Tower( I have only stood beneath it)
Luxembourg Garden
On return trips we go back to d’Orsay and L’Orangerie, walk more neighborhoods.
Rick has suggested itineraries in his book, like every other guidebook. They all pretty much track the same so you can compare and contrast, and then choose your own.

Download Rick Steves app on your phone and take his Historic Paris self-guided walk; this way you won’t miss seeing the heart of Paris. You can also buy his Paris Pocket guidebook 4th edition that will get you around and features this self-guided walk plus another one on Rue Cler the market street.
If you’re tall go to the Louvre. This museum is crowded and there’s always someone who’ll block your view. Another good museum is the Orsay.
I have never been in the Eiffel Tower because I’ve looked at many nose bleed pictures and the view is too high to appreciate. The best views are from the first level so what’s the point. Unless you’re a fan of airplane views then go.
