My daughter says she read somewhere, not sure where ,that one could get a 2 for 1 paris museum pass in conjunction a with train ticket purchase. We are going to be in Paris first and take the train to London later that week. We plan to buy and book our passes and train tickets from here in the next week or so. Wondered what the real story is.

According to the official Chunnel train site, it a 2 for 1 deal for just the Orsay Museum and a handful of other sites. More info via this link:

We are in the same situation too in July traveling from Paris to London on the Eurostar. We've already purchased our Eurostar tickets and from what I see on the Terms and Conditions link on the Eurostar page, the 2-1 offer ISN'T going to work for us even though we hold a valid train ticket we are traveling in the wrong direction for the 2-1 offer to work while we are in Paris since we are starting out in Paris.
"For access to partner museums sited in France or Belgium, the Offer is only available to passengers travelling from the UK to France or Belgium."
