2 Days in between Provence and Paris

I have a car. Already done Lyon twice, wanted to do somewhere else. Any recommendations?

You could stay in Loire valley region and see a few marvelous castles and drink some fabulous wines.Check RS for home base and touring suggestions, but we stayed in Chinon (3hours from Paris), it is less touristy. Good luck!

Loire is great but quite west.
If you want to kind of stay on the line between Provence and Paris,
try staying around Beaune in the burgundy region, it is a nice littl town, the surroundings are great.

If you are willing to go a bit east, Annecy is gorgeous and Chamonix is not far from there.
You could go on top of Mont-Blanc for instance. Spectacular

Just checked out Beaune. That looks like my cup of tea. Tons of wineries to visit and imbibe!

One more vote for Beaune. I spent 2 nights there (Chateau Challenges) going the opposite way, Paris to Avignon. It's almost exactly halfway between the two & has some great food, wine & sights. The Hotel Dieu & wine museum are high points.
