After some time in Paris, we want to spend a couple of days at the Chateaus in the Loire Valley. Because of my wife's limited energy, we feel that a private guide would be helpful. Can you recommend any or how to go about finding them?

Are you looking for a private tour guide at a Chateau, for example a person to lead you through Chambord or a multi day tour of a number of chateaus? In any event, check out a company named Acco-Dispo, a company based in Amboise that does excursions and private tours and can also put together a custom private tour. I have not use them but I know someone who has and gave them rave reviews.
