Lodging in Colmar

Hi, looking for a nice hotel or b&b in Colmar. We will have a car but would like to be in walking distance to center and sites. My husband is a large man so looking for a queen size bed, lift or luggage assistance, (we are in our 50s and do not travel light), shower if not too much to ask...... . We are thinking of spending 3 days, drive the route des vins, day trip to Strasbourg. I'd even entertain staying in a town nearby if that would
work out better. Any thoughts appreciated.... thanks kathy
