Can I buy a carnet of tickets for the Paris metro at St Pancras station. If so, is the cost the same.

The service desk in the waiting area sells (or used to) the carnet of 10 Metro tickets. There is an additional commision charge. I don't remember if you can pay in sterling. The current price at a Metro station in Paris is €13,70 so you can decide whether the convenience at St-Pancras is worth paying extra.

Both a carnet and Paris Visite passes are available in St Pancras International at the customer service desk near the Cafe Nero airside, both with a small fee added, and both available in Pound Sterling and Euro.

On board both are also available in the bar cars, with a small fee added, in either currency.
