Has anyone taken cooking classes in Provence? Any that were awful? Any that you thought gave you the best shopping, preparation and dining? There is nothing on Rick's site that I can find. His books gave us tips for a fabulous self guided two week vacation in both France and Italy. Now we would like to try another approach.
Hi Lorraine, I'm looking forward to the responses you receive on this topic. My cousin took a cooking course in Italy and enjoyed it very much. I've looked in to a few companies, i.e. the International Kitchen (http://www.theinternationalkitchen.com/cooking-vacations/france/provence-cote-dazur/provencal-adventure), which looks promising. Some are very expensive so I'd like to get a personal recommendation. Sounds like fun.
Carol, where did you find free French cooking classes in the US?
Hi Lorraine - You might check Rosa Jackson, whose website is petitsfarcis.com. She is based in Nice. I don't have direct experience with her classes but do read her column in France Magazine. She has all four and five star reviews on Trip Advisor.
