If I`m not mistaken, you should have at least one connection to make from CDG.

Checking from Paris (all stations) would offer more choices. If you see a good train leaving from Montparnasse or Austerlitz, for example the night train, then you can take the Air France bus from CDG direct to Montparnasse station or the RER (1 connection at Saint-Michel) to Austerlitz.

You could also fly to Bordeaux and take the train from there to Bayonne.

You're right, Sharon. There's a direct dedicated bus service from the airport to the Gare Saint-Jean in Bordeaux.
