has anyone visited the market on a Sunday at L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in a car? I have read several comments that it is very crowded and wondered about the parking situation. Do they have any lots or just side street parking? Any tips for arriving by car?

I was there for the Sunday market last July. We went very early....got there before opening time while vendors were still setting up. There is a parking lot by the train station which we were able to find a space in very easily as we arrived well before the hordes. Get there early and it will not be very crowded. We left by 1030 so we were there for only 2 hours but we got out just as the multitude of people were arriving.

We also went rather early, and had a large van to park, but we did find a place. Yes, it got more crowded as the day progressed, but it was well worth it. We had a great time there and a wonderful lunch. Lots of great antiques and the town itself is charming.
